Crib antics

I took down the crib after we watched the kids do this Sunday night. I'd really like to avoid broken bones this year.

  1. Think of all the things you can do when you're as big as Luke and Lydia! Like use the bathroom! I can't wait to watch DD watching herself as a 3 yr. old when she's 16. Oh, the dialogue that goes on in your house! Ha ha. And good for Luke knowing his letter E!! Good for you for taking that thing down. My friend's boy just broke his foot jumping on the bed. But you should know he broke his femur last year from jumping into a foam pit, so maybe it wasn't the activity, but rather his bird bones!

  2. So does Luke eat the E? Don't leave us hanging.

  3. At least your kids aren't jumping off of the dresser onto the bed, which is what Nick would have done. They're hillarious.

  4. Yes Shelly, Lydia is full of gems that she will cringe at when she's older! And a little background for you Becky and Shelly--a few weeks ago, a friend was over at our house with her kids, and they were jumping off Lydia's bed and one girl broke her foot. So, I'm a little more leery about kids jumping around/down/off beds and Luke attempting to walk along the back side of his crib!

And Shirlene, try as he might, Luke did not eat the E. But he did eat some of the putty that was holding it on the wall.

  5. Hahahaha!!!! I love the commentary about when you turn into a three year old again and can use the potty like a big girl. Can't wait to see that! That girl cracks me up. :)
